The contractor should review specifications and drawings, raise clarifications early, provide a clause-by-clause compliance statement and propose value engineering only as clearly marked options.
3. Vendor relationships
Direct relationships with OEMs and authorised UAE distributors mean genuine products, manufacturer warranties, competitive pricing and reliable lead times.
4. Submittals, testing and approvals
Check capability for material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, certification testing, commissioning, as-built documentation and authority approvals where required.
5. Integration and after-sales
Modern buildings integrate CCTV, access control, BMS, GRMS and IT networks. Choose a partner who can integrate systems and support them after handover with an AMC.
